As always, Katie did the most fantastic work! Truly can’t say enough good words! She understood the vision down to a T. Went for quite a big change going from Blond to Auburn and a decent cut & restyle was definitely needed. Left the salon feeling like a new woman. It’s rare to meet a stylist whose colour skills, are matched to her cutting skills and even styles it flawlessly too. Katie excels in all areas. Can’t thank you enough!

Vintage Rock have been in the town for quite a while now and I've used them pretty much exclusively over the years for a pretty standard wash, cut and blow dry. They have been pretty reliable too. The salon itself is lovely with great decor and is just by Morrisons so very central in town. They also have expanded what they offer in terms of hair/nail/beauty too! They offer online booking too which is a help and you can book appointments with a deposit. My usual stylist Katie, I think has left now so there are new faces and a little bit of a sea change in store (they used to always ask if you wanted a drink too!) She was fantastic, great at a cut and a blow dry and really did it well. I've just been in at the weekend and was a little disappointed. Nothing to do with skill, it just felt a bit rushed and the end result wasn't as good as I've had before. I've mostly had good experiences but I think that with my pretty boring hair cut, I'm not really their target market anymore (I'm quite forgettable too so they probably don't have a clue who I am!). I think they are a good salon and love an edgy cut but it is so dependent on the stylist and your relationship with them.

My usual salon was fully booked so I tried this salon. I only have a wash and rough dry as I can't do it myself as I'm disabled. The salon is nicely decorated, the young girl who washed my hair was polite and sweet. My hair was washed properly. Not keen on the disposable towels to be honest but everything else was just fine. Will use this salon as my spare when mine are fully booked :) EDIT: Used Christina's services to have my ruined nails sorted. FAB job, very pleased, feel human again. Lovely lady to talk to and very professional :)
